We have all scrapped better in the past when Escorts were ten a penny. This is the present, if it were a 2 door there would be a fight to buy it.

The point is it could be the one of the oldest MK2 in existence. And irrespective of the door count i think its a shame if it get broken up.

 

And before someones says it I couldn't restore it, I dont have the skill level.

I agree this SHOULD be saved but the reality is it wont. If had had loads of dosh and the garage to do it in this would be mine by now. People are so negative about the whole 2 door 4 door thing, it should be seen for what it is a very BIG project but at the end of all the hard graft ( + dosh ) possibly the oldest mk2 out there. So don't shoot the man down for trying to save it someone has to.

Well done to Top Ghia for raising awareness that this car is rare and needs to be saved. I don't have the space but hope someone can save it as N reg MKIIs are few and far between especially ones this early.
