4parajon Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Dont know much about this, I met up with the Manchester Classic Ford Club last night and Steve G who runs the club is attending in his Mk1 XR2. I might go just to have a butchers, not been to a track day before. This is his car.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted February 2, 2007 Admin Report Posted February 2, 2007 I've been round Oulton Park on a track day in the Scooby and it is quite a twisty track and great fun ..... well worth a watch Going round the hairpin with the camber it has gives you the feeling of being on a fairground ride Not much run off either in places

Steve was tellin me he does'nt half scare the bejeesus out of the big money track day regulars in his Mk1. As you can see from the piccies he's not a "bufty boy" (as they say in 'ampshire), by all accounts he drives it like his pants are on fire as well:lol:
