Yes I will be increasing the track by around 1.5 inches.

I was wondering about lengthening a antiroll bar or any other ways of mounting antiroll as I thought adjusting the track by this much would ruin the antiroll bar if I tried to bend it this far.

What is everyone's thoughts?

Who runs adjustable tcas with a wider track an how have you done yours?

Thanks for the replys guys

Ok just looked at burtons adjustable compression strut kit an that sais it is used instead of s anti roll bar, using the antiroll bar mounts on the tca's. I'm pretty sure this could would work for me. Thanks welshmike

Any info on them or how to set them up for best handling would be awesome

This would be for a road car so would want it to not be crazy hard.

Hmm other option is find a antiroll that size? What about a sierra one?

With the the compression struts you can adjust the castor angle, i like quite a lot of castor, seems to be more responsive and self steers better when your doing skids :D but its all personal preferance.

If you would rather stick with a traditional arb setup i think a Mk1 capri one could work, they look to me almost identical to escort ones but the track of the capri is about 2" wider. If you want me to I'll run a tape measure over mine tommorow, just let me know what dimensions youd like.

Thank you welshmike!!!

Ill pop in the garage tonight an measure up if you'd put the measurement of a Capri arb at the tca's. top man!

That would be better for me I think :-) I like the feel of my escort with a arb

Ok, the distance between the ends of my arb at the front of the tca's is about 40", but its hard to measure accurately. Thats with the car sitting on its wheels, it would be slightly shorter if it were jacked up or had a higher ride height.

Are you useing escort/capri tca's (theyre the same)? If so whats the distance between where they bolt to whatever crossmember youre useing? Mine are 26.5" apart. I think this is a more accurate way of measuring the diffrance in track and therefore width of the arb. So Id say if your useing escort tca's and the distance between them at the crossmember is 26 - 27" then a Mk1 capri arb would be spot on i reckon

Hope my rambling is of some help :D

The original arb is 41inch at the shocks and mounts down the bend at 28 inch across although is only 23 inch wide at the bends.

Escort is 38ish at the struts (guess in the dark) an 24ish at the front
