waxoyl or shutz?

Ive just purchased the diy spray gun so i can protect the inside of my chassis rails on my mk1 escort, they have recently been repaired and i want to protect them before they start going rusty

 

should i use the hammerite waxoyl or shutz? is there much differeence?

 

the hammerite stuff says it also kills rust

I would use the waxoil

Put some etch primer on bare metal if poss mate then waxoyl

id krust them first then waxoil or even maybe rubberised stoneguard

Have a look at this stuff, "Fertan" ,it's used on boats.

I used to swear by waxoyl, but have found like everything else these days it has gone down hill badly, I have just finished rebuilding and painting the shell of my Anglia and have given the whole thing a treatment with dinitrol, I bought a 3 can kit with the applicator gun for under 50 quid and I can't recommend it highly enough. just don't apply any wax treatments until you have finished painting.
