stuartp Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 since i started driving (which was admittedly quite a while ago now) petrol has very nearly tripled in price i'm certainly not earning 3 times as much hence, yes i do pay attention to how much fuel i'm using but obviously it hasn't put me off enough to drive a boring, efficient modern - i'm still working on the idea of decent fuel economy 70s style
brettp Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 One good thing I've done to mine was the six speed box it s on tick over at 70 but pod and back costs me a fortune joys of a big v8 I think most people suffer a trade of when driving to the track I still love the drive up there but petrol is ridiculous and another reason trailers are appealing the future is modern engines in light old cars faster more economical cheap tax and don't look crap
johnnyspencer Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 many years ago i remember saying to the wife "when it gets to £1 a litre thats it im not buying any more!!" but im still pumping it in because i need it, there really is no choice we pay what they say and always will 1
Fiesta Steve Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 My daily hack is 3 Litre V6, petrol..
