My First Car...& 2nd & 3rd

Just thought I'd pop these in as I found them just recently in an old album.

 

My first car. Capri Mk2 1600 L with a Ghia interior, badly painted and a terible pin stripe and over loaded electrical system. But I still loved it.

 

 

Escort Mk3 1600 Ghia (proper this time). Got this coz I wasn't allowed to take the GF (now wifey)out in the Capri according to her Dad as it was to "tail happy". Another great little car. Up for sale at this point to buy the next not as good car.

 

 

Escort Mk4 1600 Ghia Auto. What a bad move selling my Mk3 for this. It had teribble tin worm after a few months of owning it but all fixed under Ford warranty but ended up with the front wings being off shade after 3 attempts to get it right and it was mighty slow after the manual Mk3.
