NEW LEZ rules to come into force April 1st 2014

Good old mayor Boris has announced today that an extension of the London Emissions zone will go ahead next year to include all cars ,vans and buses ,to fall in line with new EU rules .

Basically any car made before 2003 will have to pay a £100 charge to drive within M25 area of London.

A scrappage scheme is planned to help kick start the economy and the people with older vehicles will be offered £2500 to scrap their cars for new greener models.

It seems Historic vehicles wont escape either those in the zone will be unable to use any car built before 1984 in the zone apart from Sundays and will still be charges a daily fee in the zone

Sorry but want to be clear,so what your saying is if I drive my mk1 to chelsea criuse I have got to pay £100 to get there havig a laugh old boris
