Changing the engine from YB to V6 12 valve Cologne so far has taken 18 months, for various reasons, the job did include gearbox change, power steering fitment and complete rewire but I hope to get the car back this weekend after it's been remapped, the car will be usable but still have to remake the throttle bracket, coil pack bracket and make an air-box, guess owning an old Ford is just an ongoing job! Me and and my mate was talking abut this the other day and came to the conclusion that you normally have about three days of nothing then one day where a lot comes together body works the worst bit time consuming hard crap job

The biggest problem ive encountered so far is chopping out a section of rot, then chopping back a bit further, then spotting another bit and chopping that out

Seems like 1 step forward then 3 back sometimes, on the plus side though there aint much rot left in the front end to cut out now as its pretty much all new panels from the bulkhead forward
