aden Posted May 10, 2013 Report Posted May 10, 2013 ive been hunting the internet trying to find an answer to if a standard mk1 escort rev counter will work with electronic ign, countless people say that u need to have the insides converted and all sorts of other things so I thought I would share this with fellow oldskoolers, my mk1 is running a pinto with bestek electronic ign, no ballast resistor, 12v coil, electronic si.erra dizzy, and if u connect the rev counter loop wire in series on the positive side of the coil it works bang on, hope this helps others out, and if u want to see the video I will post it, yes I am that sad I videoed it lol
