Was a good show, I'll try and get the couple of pics I took up on here too (including a few of the OSF stand)

 

Also bargain of the year was had by the buyer of that 2dr mk1 escort apperently that was for sale there

Darren you would love the show mint factory spec and modded car's I've not been for a few years myself but a really good day out.

It was a good show, wasnt many on our stand even tho a big area had been marked out for us.

 

That Mk1 2 door that sold was a bargain, guy who parked next to me, one of his mates bought it dont think he could believe his luck !!!

Standard early 1100 deluxe or similar, still on 12" wheels and all the "old" Aftermarket switches etc. taxed and tested couldnt really see it needed much work anywhere to keep standard was advertised for £3500 ............ was told it actually sold for slightly less ?

 

Sort of thing you see selling for £5 -£6K normallly

Sold for £3300 apparently. Mental. I was gutted as I would have 100% had it for that money and worried about where I was gonna put it afterwards. Always wanted a mk1 2dr but can never see it happening. Yeah my mates know the guy who brought it (we was the three mk2's parked next to you in the pic's Colin, mine being the blue one.) Tbf seen the cars the guy who brought it has built in the past and they are all first class / awesome builds, including his orange 1600 sport which was at AVO and is very very clean

Sorry so many of you missed the AVO National Day this year. Here's an early heads up that the 2014 event has already been booked and is again at Hatton World but next year it is back to it's traditional Father's Day weekend which is June 15th 2014. Hope to see you all there.

 

No excuse for not getting it in the diaries now (apart from the fact that nobody will have 2014 diaries yet!)

 

I will post reminders nearer the time.
