Muzzman ive also got one in my Escort van and drives no differently than a pinto in traffic and have / do use it on a daily basis , out of interest how much did the setup on the ebay link you put up go for ..........Go YB youll never regret it

Sorry to hear that its always been packed when ive been with the car park full by about half 10 , i thought it was an OSF meet , i dont go on Faceache i just found out about it on here ....

Just realised that there was an OSF meet at Boxhill today just totally forgot , must be an age thing , so how did it go ? was there a good turnout ? , been to quite a few but just forgot today , any pics ...........

The ''H'' cafe meet is more of a yank vehicle meet , ive been a few times and at last months there were probably around 35 to 40 cars n mine was the only OSF .....the cafe shuts at 9 so alot of the flat capper types go home soon after ......

Realistically its the ''how long is a piece of string'' answer as body mod wise very little but the main cost is obviously engine , box , loom then theres the brake upgrade and yes thats a must along with any suspension mods thats down to you and the back axle and the fitting of an LSD .....like i said you can spend as much as it costs for a basic conversion or go for the full monty ......best bet in my personal opinion buy yourself a 2wd cossie complete and use that as the donor for alot of the parts even doing the disc conversion on the rear brakes ........

By using a Cossie YB and T5 there is no engine bay modifications though the tunnel will have to be made bigger (unless an auto shell) but as there is plenty of peddle / foot room you dont need to worry about it looking out of place .....off course the battery will have to be relocated but most put them in other places even with pinto conversions...

Nice thought but i cant see it happening , as i said in my previous post its been the same for well ever !! its all about the pound and keeping it in house surely the organisers of the big shows be it Ford , VW , etc mentioned they may take the ''goose that lays the golden pound'' to another venue then they might start to take the paying public/show participants seriously and be more professional in all the aspects listed in this thread ........Good luck with your negotiations hopefully a change for the better ...

The thing is the attitude of the ''Marshals'' isnt a new thing its been the same for years (25 years at least) ive had many a run in with them with there ive got a black puffa jacket n radio and there lack of respect for the paying publc is unreal and thats why i havnt bothered with the CF show for a couple of years now and it never gets any better as Santa Pod has the we are the best attitude but there not its always overpriced and allways problems getting in or out that surely by now should have been sorted , if we/you didnt show the cars they wouldnt have a big show still nothing will change and next year this will probably be discussed again ........Just my opinion .

Could be an answer but as there all volunteers and also have lives / families that might take up alot more time still a good idea .......The victory wheelers always asked for a pic of your car at there doo's (about 25 - 30 years ago) to make sure it was suitable before you got an entry number and that always worked with very little trouble as anyone attending knew the rules .....
