texr2000 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 i do enjoy retro car show, but i havnt been for a few years and was a little disappointed that it hasnt expanded a bit. i was surprised there was very few air cooled vw's, being that their shows are packed thought there be a few more. would have been good seeing some fast beetles on the strip, then again could been a few more OSF's....

You would think that what with it being 'retro' there wouldbe thousands upon thousands of people there! I camped over and all of the campers only just about filled one field! What was there was really good tho!

Where was the second? lol I only saw one stall an was hugely disappointed especially as I was after parts an upon entry on the Saturday saw it had advertised one in the main booklet :-/ maybe we need to speak to the show people?

Savvi Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 It was much quieter then I expected, I was also looking for the Auto jumble was hoping to pick up some bits had a pocket full of cash but didn't buy anything, although I enjoyed it, im not sure id go again. As for the Vw stuff I believe there was a big show of their own on the same day, so guess they all went there.
