peranapete Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I am about to buy some wheels for my Mk1 Capri Perana, I have a dilema on the size, I can either go 225/50/15" or 225/45/16" http.www.imagewheels.co.uk/large_wheel_pages/brm6.html Cant make my mind up if to go 15" or 16"....Whats best 15 or 16 ? what do you reckon???
capri302 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I am having a similar problem with my Mk1 Capri! I would love to try 16" or even 17" (dare to be different!) rims, but finding affordable ones is proving a little difficult!
DarrenM Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I have 225/50/15's on the back and 205/50/15's on the front of my Capri MK3. They are on 7" wide Comp ML's and I would say the 225's look a bit tall and wide for the wheel. The 205/50's look a lot nicer on the wheel if you know what I mean! A 225 needs an 8" really.

Hello, have you had a look at Image Wheels They do some beautifull wheels Thanks Peter
teamtom Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 the thing you have to remember guys is that you can go on wheel size by looking at tyre size, on say a 6 inch wheel you can get a range of widths so that isn't an issue at the moment. Id say 6x15's or maybe 7x15's mate. good nice sized wheel.
