Need a bit of Wolop in this old Cappa!

Guys Im looking for a decent V6 to drop in my Capri. The 1.6 just doesnt do it for me anymore.

 

Anyone got any suggestions? Or know anyone with a set up they are looking to sell?

Guess it's a matter of choice and availability really, (and depth of pocket!) Iv'e fitted a 2.9 12 valve Cologne from a 1989 Granada Mk3 Limo in my Mk3 Cortina most of what fits a Capri also fits Cortina's, it uses the V6 type 9 5 speed box, most popular fitment is the Essex or 24 valve Cologne engine....

Looks amazing! I need to do this as cheap as possible, but I don't want a rubbish lump so accept I have to probably get it bit by bit! If you know anyone selling a YB for less than 500 quid, put them my way (in my dreams) x

The V6 fitted replaced a well sorted 2.4 nasp YB, sold it last year for £5,500, they dont come cheap!
