Wideboy Posted August 19, 2013 Report Posted August 19, 2013 Sorry some of the pics didn't come out as well as I had hoped I currently have MK5 Escort Recaro's in the front of the Capri and they had the standard headrests I was lucky enough to pick up some Fishnet Headrests last week at Battlesbridge for £25 however they were a couple of shades of grey away from matching Fishnet compared to original So I had a quick trip to Halfords and picked up some grey paint and gave them a dust over. It was never going to be a 100% match has the Escort trim is a grey with darker fleck Here's 1 done and 1 not I'd never paint anything fabric that was going to be in constant use or with heavy traffic it just wouldn't work . I only lightly dusted them with a couple of coats just to tone in a little with the original seats...To be honest they aren't as soft as they were, they still feel like fabric just a little rough,But eh I'm not gonna sit in the motor stroking them. They are more for show and apart for the odd moment I never use a headrest anyway... Dusted over next to original 1 done 1 not Both done Back on the seats
mk2 mike Posted August 19, 2013 Report Posted August 19, 2013 Good job that. They look MUCH better than the original headrests.
