Admin Vista Posted August 20, 2013 Admin Report Posted August 20, 2013 The people that come along, take a shot of your car and then go off and make money out of it really grip my sh*t. This lot have been flogging this print that includes my car, reg no and all, for years. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Escort-Mk1-RS-1600-Sport-1300-Twin-Cam-Mk-1-Print-/150919854907?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litterature_ET&hash=item2323863b3b
mk2 mike Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Have to say that pic of Gary's car is a crap shot. Doesn't fit the canvas, too close etc. I'd be surprised if anyone bought it. (Awesome car, just not a great photo). Still out if order though. Isn't there an option to report on eBay under fraudulent listings, with a drop down option of 'owner has no knowledge of sale'? Not exactly the right explanation but its close.
Admin Vista Posted August 20, 2013 Admin Report Posted August 20, 2013 What they're doing is perfectly legal, i.e. the photographer owns the copyright of the picture. It just irks me that the owner of the car is the one who puts all the time and money in making it look good and he has no rights at all.
mk1estate Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 blimey, the seller comes from hastings which is only 3 miles away from me. Dont seem right they can do that, i bet they never even ask the owner first
