Sometimes it starts, sometimes it just clicks?

So the capri starts most times, but sometimes you have to try several times as it just clicks, any idea what this is?

Sounds to me like a loose connection between the battery and the starter motor, may also be worth checking that the battery has enough juice.

Agreed, try a new starter motor solenoid

I put that couldnt spell it at the time lol, but i think mine is the wright spellining lol

SOLENOID please peeps. even i can spell that lol

Mine would do this when hot, was the lead from Solenoid to starter.

 

But sounds more like the Solenoid, depending on year could be on innner wing or part of the starter
