Sorry people....

Hasting council had agreed our meet  and booked us in back in January by one of their staff ( Rasoul Shahilow )  who as now left... and not thought to inform anyone else at Hastings council of our meet....KNOB HEAD....

 

 Below is the e-mail recieved today from Hasting council....

Further to our discussion I have to advise you that your Classic Car event can not be accommodated in the Roch-A-Nore Car Park this week end, as the Seafood and Wine Festival wail be taking place on the 14th and 15th of September 2013.

As a consequence of this event parking in the Rock-A-Nore car park will be in very demand and therefore your Classic Car event can not be accommodated in this car park and as discussed, will need to be cancelled.

In regard to your proposed event in Hastings in 2014 please contact me directly and I will hopefully be able to facilitate the same.

Truly Gutted, Had a mate coming over Friday to assist in a polish of the Cortina and currently rushing to get my Raleigh burner back together in time to bring along too. Ashamed to live in Hastings right now, but please don't give up on the place.

You might want to try Rother council, they have a field at Glyne Gap which is about 2 miles along the seafront from Rock a Nore towards Bexhill. It is hardly used except for 1 circus and about 6 boot sales a year.
