Can any one help PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE 

 

I have a 100e that I'm fitting a 2.0 Pinto/auto that came out of a transit (I know !!! why), any how have a few issues, car is running escort steering & suspension, firstly starter is on the drivers side & in the way of steering shaft & manifold, cannot fit the RS alloy sump now niether as again starter is in the way, my question is does anyone know if another gearbox will fit ie granada auto etc ? even if I could swop over bellhousings that would really help

Do you really need to keep it an auto? If not, go for the RS alloy sump and a Type 9 5 speed.

 

Also, being transit sourced, is it a low compression engine?
