Guest M.Bird DOHC Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 think a cossie one fits................... i think??!!!
teamtom Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 i know pintos can be a bit sluggish on crank. how slow is it?
lee 1 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 could be wrong but i don't think cossie ones fit without modding the bellhousing
Guest MK1gaz Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Yep a cossie ones not a straight fit . It may be your battery , earth to the body or just an old lazy starter motor .
petrolhead01 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 if its a high compression engine then standard starters may struggle to crank the engine!!you can either buy of the shelf a high torque item but these are not cheap or take it to sahibs auto electrics on the north circular 1 min from the ace and they can rewind it , and it is alot cheaper than a new item. and trust me these guys have been rebuilding starters and alternators for close on 25 years and i dont know anybody thats as good, in my experience!!
Baz. Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 just get a BRISE motorsport one, end of problem
