garyv6100e Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 Has any progress been made made with Rykers to allow us back to have an official OSF meet at Boxhill if so when or have we lost the venue following last years antics.
bazoff72 Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 im all ears what happened last year? just curious!
garyv6100e Posted March 15, 2014 Author Report Posted March 15, 2014 im all ears what happened last year? just curious! There was quite a few people doing rolling burnouts dounuts etc as they were leaving Boxhill when you had familys etc trying to enjoy their own day out which lead to Posse getting a visit from the police as he was running the site last year, subsequently Rykers have been less than enthusiastic to have as back.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 17, 2014 Admin Report Posted March 17, 2014 Just picking a date Gary ... sometime in April we're thinking .... 1
l j shaw Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 I'm sure this is going to be very difficult for Posse or anyone else to arrange ....you only have to look at the evidence on you tube to see what he or any future arrangement is up against.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 17, 2014 Admin Report Posted March 17, 2014 Luckily Posse doesn't have to worry about this anymore as he stepped down from the club 3 months ago BUT it will always be an issue for the club I expect
garyv6100e Posted March 17, 2014 Author Report Posted March 17, 2014 Just picking a date Gary ... sometime in April we're thinking .... Thats good Jo, i thought we might of lost the venue, looking forward to April
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 17, 2014 Admin Report Posted March 17, 2014 Well it's a public car park and if we all happen to be there at the same time then there's not a great deal they can do about it if it's not widely promoted ... so ... like the last one - we just happened to mention we might all be there having a cup of tea ... 4
over_head_cam Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 A nice cuppa at Rykers is always a good idea if we just happen to be passing 4
bashbymk2 Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 Be a shame to lose this meet - was a real good one
Mrs O/H/C Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 Thinking that maybe Easter Saturday could be a good day to have a cuppa 1
iandq Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 i quite fancy a cuppa and maybe a burger on easter saturday, i might nip down to rykers! 1
nosher 64 Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 I think that we are going to be in the box hill area that day, just wondering what sort of time we will be thirsty ??
SmokeEm Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 I'm working However, if my car is finished by then I might be thirsty a little later than usual, around 1pm ish
over_head_cam Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Actually I think I might be passing by there about 10 on that day. Be rude not to pop in 1
Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 19, 2014 Admin Report Posted March 19, 2014 Ok ... so how does Sat 19th April suit everyone then? Any other preferred dates when you might happen to be passing Boxhill (I know many peeps do family stuff on the Easter weekend)? .... 1
