The title of this www site is oldskoolford, rolls off the tongue and is a bit catchy, ....much better than, Ford car enthusiasts group for cars designed and released before 1980 which are fitted with metal bumpers ...bit long and takes a while to put in the search engine. So oldskoolford it is, it supports these cars from that age and shouldn't really dilute its ethos by changing the goal post, or it ends up loosing its identity

I'd say yes it's worth it,.....the replica copies recreation etc etc etc just haven't got what this has, timing chain or rubber band ? That could effect the price ....but if it goes for that price will we ever see it at shows or meets again ??

Look into shipping it somewhere and getting a lot more for your money .....I can remember a few years it was so much cheaper sending stuff to Poland and people who did it getting better quality for a lot less.. Yes did read a few horror stories, but heard more positives ..

I was very happy with the Vulcan built crossflow I had ...and would use them again, I found the engine reliable and usable in slow traffic as well

Got IDFs on my supersport .....what a pain to set up ....but once I had it right it's been an absolute awesome set up well worth the effort

It's brilliant ....you get your grandkids for a short time, ....you can fill them full of sugar get them all hypo and full of energy and hand them back just before they go to bed ....and still get a great nights sleep ....if you don't call the mum n dad for a few days it's all forgotten about ...lol lol

ive heard about this problem from a few others, but not about it being resolved as yet, even welding a ridge onto the lugs hasn't given 100% positive result.

A while ago it was all about how good the Reproduction alloys where. Will the Weller wheel go the same way. Been informed that it's totally different under the hub cap ?

You never know the seller might view this site lol but if he marks up prices like that ...maybe he's sunning himself on his own island on his own planet lol Having just put one of my own cars up forsale ....I was surprised how many dealers thought they where entitled to a dealer discount ..once I had withdrawn it from sale, only one was honest enough to say he was going to put it back on at proper market value.

I'm afraid to say I totally disagree with the statement ...once fitted to the car only a few could tell the difference. They are totally different in so many ways, even on a moving car they look totally different to the genuine rims even.with or without caps. Even the JDM replica one look different, just a little harder to spot on a moving car.

If your parting with that amount for something that could be wrong, I'd have a drive up and have a good look at the car. If I was looking for a Mk1 Mex .......this would not be on my list, something just isn't right, it may have had a few changes in its life.
