So the next job is to pop in a manual choke, so if anyone can direct me to an appropriate thread if there is one or convince me its an easy job then jump on in. If it helps it's a mk2 2.0 pinto.
mexicansteve Posted April 5, 2014 Author Report Posted April 5, 2014 What it was...is still unknown. After the fourth adjustment that seems fine although I havent done a long run yet. The carb was also gunked up, now cleansed and a diaphragm somewhere in all that was allowing some air backwards into the fuel lines! Hopefully now all is sorted...at least for a couple of months.
