  3. I don't think its from the footwells as it fills up when stationary.
  4. No sunroof. But I can look into the door card plastic.
  5. So I have to drive the capri all year round as I cant run two cars, however, the inclement weather has left me with two very damp footwells. I can't see any obvious running water or water marks so I thought I'd see if you good folk would have an idea of the usual places that would cause this. I cant just take it to a shop as I cant really afford that at the moment.

  8. okay refurbed at bargain price, any special instructions on putting it back in ie should the bit with the spring on hook on to something? Sorry I'm so clueless. Here's the thing, was I supposed to take off the whole big bit? I think I might have just refurbed the solenoid assembly...
  9. can anyone suggest a good place to get another starter motor from? Mine has finally died a death. Or should I just get it refurbed?

  11. putting air in the back tyres on the Escort and this guy came up to me with his wife and said he had the exact same Capri as mine, only his was in red. Haha, but I didn't have the heart to tell him it ws an Escort In a similar way, I was told by some chap that my Capri was the same as his old escort... How I inwardly chuckled

  15. Lovely weekend and dry! Only 3 of us on Saturday but Sunday was a tight squeeze. I thoroughly enjoyed it, loads of stuff, a bit flat cap brigade but plenty of nice tin...and 20 minutes from home helped. Turns out my daughters new favourite vehicle is the little old Popular.
