It is quiet down here, I just want to go for drives and don't seem to find any takers. However my capri is a family heirloom that I drive all year round, I love being stopped by inquisitive people asking about it. On another note I recently discovered, not 20 metres from my back door, a young chap in a small garage rebuilding a late mk3 capri, so I guess there's stuff everywhere, it's just hidden away.

I'm not paranoid, all my fears are real...

So, finding myself driving alone a lot I feel a need to find other folk in old cars (any marque, sorry), so I built a little site called www.bequietanddrive.co.uk I'm just trying to find people who enjoy their old cars (and don't sing softly to them in a garage for ten months of the year) so we can go for a drive. I have a normal limited mileage policy. That's only because my job doesn't have a commute as such. I might drive the 155 miles to the warehouse to get a job ready and then not have to drive home for 4 weeks! Meanwhile the capri is in a secure compound. Lucky me I guess

I just drove home from work from London to Exeter via Redditch! Apart from the usual plethora of VW's I saw very few old cars and no osf's at all. So whoever, 50 miles from home, was driving the black vinyl roofed, bright yellow Capri the other way down the M5, I thank you. Faith restored.

I agree with the intermittent wiper thing, really annoying, I drive my '74 Capri all year round and can't afford a garage so everything else is just par for the course, but those bloody wipers...

Due to me being an eediot I have a clear piece of glass for the driver side rear passenger window for a mere £20 plus whatever postage costs ( £10-£15ish). Probably fits capri III's as well but I really don't know.

Big ole crack appeared overnight, anyone have, know where I can source, a rear side piece of glass. Looked on fleabay and only found full sets. Answered my own question, Tickover has everything!
