  1. It would seem everything stops the first of August down in the Westcountry. This month has soooooooo many events on, that its impossible to attend many, the 14th alone has 4 southwest of Exeter, including 2 classic/vintage/steam shows, msa hillclimb and a ford pub meet. Perhaps we could extend July a bit into the next month, as then my calendar seems rather quiet!
  2. Yeah, brilliant weekend, superb weather and went with a good bunch of guys! Got there 10:30 on the Friday...... No queues, left 8:30 on Monday........ No queues! Couldn't find anyone else I knew there even though I knew they were on the same campsite, it was so huge.
  3. Not seen much of your mate Charlie for a while either!!
  4. Shall keep an eye out for you malc, going up Friday morning. We're camping in the woodlands field.
  5. I've been told we can get in the main gate right up to when the stages go live on Sunday morning, or there's the option of camping on the sat eve, last year the sponsors put on a cracking hog roast the night before! I told the organisers of the problems we in particular had, and I think many of the spectators said the same, so the organisers were trying to address this issue.
  6. No worries, just seems a busy month lol
  7. Oh bugger! Just seems to be so many events in July these days, Powderham clashes with the Wadebridge wheels show!
  8. I did state that to them last time, so we can use the main gate up to when the stages go live sunday morning. Spectator logistics was a problem allround last year , so I think they will address it for this year. Another option is to get there sat night?? I will announce times when I find out myself.
  9. Hello peeps, On July 28th South Hams motor club are holding their second Motorsport Festival at Boconnoc Estate near Liskeard, Cornwall. After last years 'pilot' event, this year should be bigger and better, with a more comprehensive static show, as well as the stage rally event, and better access to the venue. I've been asked to muster a few cars for the display, hopefully enough to fly the OSF banner if anyone else is free. Exhibitors get free entry, only passengers have to pay. I've also pointed out the entry issue from last year, and if we can be there before the stages go live, we can use the main entrance to get in, or even camp the night before!!
  10. <<<==== Hopefully this one on the left
  11. RSOC have their Moors Tour and Regional day at Wadebridge down ere in sunny Cornwall on sat 22 and sun 23 June respectively. All fords welcome and camping and entertainment organised for the sat night! I'll post more details when I get them
  12. 'twas a good show, but not very well advertised. I had to look it up on the show ground website, as I went last year! The auto jumble is great and I always come away with more than I went for and it's the same time as the "drive it day" so no need to book in. They also had an auto test area for the budding hoooooligans to play.
  13. I'm through Heritage insurance with my anglia. They ask what modifications I've made, and need a set of photos for the agreed value, but that's about it. Bargain price too! Just taxed mot'd and insured it for £200 all in!
  14. Oh well, have to go wind up the old desktop once in a while then. The iPad ain't quite so clever then! ( SAD FACE)
