Went to wheels day, sat in traffic for over a hr, then told to park in the punter car park! As the show field was full. Thought it was a bigger site?! Marshals didn't give a toss. Not impressed.

That's not good .... I thought that it was supposed to be a much bigger venue to cope with the vast numbers that Rushmoor couldn't handle!! I did hear if you got there early (9am) you were ok getting in .... what time did you get there Tel?

I was in the queue at 9.30. Didn't get in until 11. Me in my freshly painted mk1 and my dad in his green 31 model a both in the car park with other irate people! I was not impressed by the marshals just telling me to get up earlier! It's very poor access too. Just seemed like they announced how big the site was and didn't expect to fill it up!

You've always had to be there by 8 really as it's always been the show season starter ... spoils it though having to queue for so long.

I've always got into rushmoor. The queues were ridiculous tho! There attitude towards us tho was not on. Don't bring the car to be dumped in the punters car park. Especially when your in a airfield!!

I was wondering why there was so many cars in the car park on the way out that should of been let in. I drove straight In and I was surprised. Im sorry to hear you weren't allowed in I was expecting the show to be bigger than it was tbh

We joined the queue at Guildford and then sat in it for 2 and half hours, gave up about 2 miles from the venue turned back and parked up at nice pub (the Wheatsheaf) had a nice lunch with Mrs N and watched the cars from there.....

I was there at 8-30 and queued for about half an hour to get in.

Parking was a bit chaotic to say the least but I don't think they were expecting so many cars to turn up hopefully they've learnt from this and will be more organised next year.

Apart from that I thought it was a great day out.

Parking was a joke. I was sent 3/4 round the airfield & then told to go back again!! Once inside, I saw a 53 plate Seat & a 57 plate Audi in the showground?? Why they let these cars in & turn away expensive works of art (not mine), I dont know. Also saw a full blown Charger/Roadrunner/Daytona pacecar in the punters car park, how much is something like that worth?? So disorganised.  Aldershot was manic but at least the had a bloody good go at soughting it out.... Prob wont go next year. Some very nice cars though

Hit Guildford at around 8.30 ish and took further hour n half or so queuing to get parked up....sent all round the site to park with the dailys, done a u turn and told a marshall been sent up to park on show field. Wasnt impressed with marshalls attitude at all sadly.

More cars there than you could look at well worth going imo but would leave a lot earlier next year!!

Agree its wheels day but dont wish to see a 54 plate mondeo diesel on a field with osf and rods!!
