7.5" RS 4 Spokes

I've got some genuine 7.5" 4 spokes that I was saving for a rainy day but am now thinking about fitting them on my mk2 escort.

 

What mods are needed for this and what tyre size option(s) are there ?

 

I've taken a couple of pics of one of the wheels bolted to the rear axle

Mark (loud boy) on here put his 7.5s on his mex recently. He'll be able to tell you.

Evening i have seen them fitted on the mk2 with no mods with 175/50 but i hated the way the wheels sat in the arch i had my axle narrowed and it looked wicked i had to wait before the front track could be narrowed as well and while i was driving the car it ruined the handling so i have now taken them off and will be fitting 8" rims with the correct offset, but like i said i have seen them fitted with no mods using 175/50 tyres.

Changed my mind. Rears might be ok bit put one on the front last night and they're just too wide me thinks

Can you fit grp4 inserts I to these? It's raining today so are they for sale?

I got probs with my computer and can't post pics but if you go to the event reports & videos and at the bottom of the first page is pics from our Essex meet there are pics of my mex there the rear axle has been narrowed 2" but the front is standard

I assume you could fit grp4 inserts but im not sure TBH.

 

Don't think I'm going to sell em. I've had em for years and might put them on an arched mk1 if I can find one !
