That is my thinking. Just sold my flat for a tidy profit and money sitting in the bank is worse than useless. I'm thinking a couple of ISAs, some bonds and a nice RS will probably be more beneficial over the foreseeable future. The rest I'll leave in the bank and see which earns more. I know what my money will be on (hint; its got four wheels).

The Mexico`s have gone mad lately in price, i bought my RS2000 6 weeks ago after a few weeks of negotiations, very pleased with the car and the cost, already been offered more than i paid for it, it  was not bought for that reason though.

Its a funny thing - I got my Riviera blue RS2000 2 years ago now and thought it was a strange colour as I can't remember ever seeing one that colour 'back in the day' or in the RS Sales brochure that was my day time reading until I bought a 3 yr old in Black. Mine looked good and I never dug that deeply but the more I do, it is revealing its interesting 'history'! Martin told me it was a rare colour but didn't realise it was only 250 units............and it is actually growing on me probably because its such a 'retro' colour - pastel type colours just aren't seen these days. Just got to finish the Zetec install, complete the wiring then screw it all back together.........so 12 months then!

I test drove a riviera blue one in 1981, but ended up buying a red one. Still got it!
