I insured mine through Lancaster Insurance 01480 484848 with an agreed valuation, had to take various pictured of the car from all angles, including engine bay and interior. Quite simple and straight forward.

Cheers, the amount of interest in Classic Fords from joe public continues to amaze me, we had a steady stream of people all day interested in all three cars, and when you tell people what they are worth nowadays the look on their faces is great!!

He are pictures from a local show to us in Sewerby near Bridlington East Yorkshire from yesterday. My Riviera Blue RS 2000 and my friends mint mark 1 XR2, and i mean MINT, and my other mates MK2 Mexico rep, which can only be described as faultless. Very good turnout on the day with 200-300 cars on display of all makes and models, a good turnout of Capris as well that looked great in the sun. The show is organised by East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club, and they run all sorts of events through the year, so if your local check them out. Loads of Classic Fords on Display yesterday from Mk1 Mexico to Sierras, Cortinas etc..... Flat phone battery or i would have had more pics!

Hi guys Ive got the chance to buy some new old stock Motocraft dry charged baterries, i think they are about 35 amps not absolutely 100% sure until tomorrow, a mate of mine wants one for his mk1 XR2, does anyone know what amps an XR2 needs? Many thanks Mike
