Weber carb whistle

Hi guys anyone had experience of a weber DGMS producing a whistle/squeal on idle,

When I apply the throttle it goes, I can't find any leak anywhere, jets are seating fine, noise is coming from one side inparticular, on the outside.

Carb is a 38 dgms

Chokes removed, new mains/air/idles fitted.

could be the manifold leaking?, noise can travel and mislead you

try carefully spraying wd40 around manifold an carb whilst idling, when sound goes or changes you've found the leak area

Cheers Pete ill take a loot the weekend, I've order a carb kit anyways as it kinda sounds like bottom gasket . Didn't think of manifold tbh but ill take a look.

Gasket set =whistle gone!! Over the moon only £20 fix for such an annoying prob
