seaneylad Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Hello . Had the tracking done and wheels balanced etc but steering still shakes at 55mph and over but the main issue is it pulls to left quite alot . When I brake it pulls a little but I know that's the pistons on the caliper they need sorting. I've removed and fitted new pads with copper slip to make sure it'd not them which it isnd. What other things could be the cause, all looks okay .. Thanks
DT36 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 Wheel un-balance is normally seen at about 70mph and you can drive out of it by decreasing or increasing the speed. I think I would be looking at my track control arm bushes and for any other play etc at ball joints or track rod ends.
katana Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 TCA's are the favorite for this but also rack mounting rubbers will promote wheel wobble. 1
