deltamal Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 Air filter/cleaner housing to suit 38 dgms/dgas carb fitted to early Granada's and Capri's, the original factory fit one.
deltamal Posted August 5, 2014 Author Report Posted August 5, 2014 No, but I am guessing they are a bit bigger than the 2 Litre with the aperture to suit the dgas/dgms carb shape,
SmokeEm Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Most will have been thrown is someone's shed malcy when they changed to K&N's
deltamal Posted August 5, 2014 Author Report Posted August 5, 2014 Most will have been thrown is someone's shed malcy when they changed to K&N's That's what I was hoping, I have fitted a 38 DGMS to my 2L Crusader with a foam filter, goes well, but it sounds like a boy racer! doesn't suit the car, so want to quieten it a bit a standard filter case with a Pipercross element should do the trick!
SmokeEm Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Was the original not a twin choke weber then? If so, can't you just cut the mounting plate to suit?
deltamal Posted August 5, 2014 Author Report Posted August 5, 2014 Probably, but was looking to get an original one, moding the twin choke one is plan B! will end up doing that I guess....
malcolmrs2000 Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Got two air filter housings ..ford but no idea what they are for
