radjay mk1 Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 what make 2 piece half shafts are you using? looking to get a set just wondered how strong they are and what sort of abuse they can take. looked at quaife and 3j drivelines and also dave from retro ford has been making some too.
Joe-ashtonmobile Posted January 16, 2015 Report Posted January 16, 2015 I can supply the 3j stuff at a good price. Are u still running a standard spline LSD? To make it bullet proof it's best to use a 18t LSD with shafts to match. Pm me if you need any more info. Cheers joe
BigBubba Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Squires Brothers (R.A.C.E.) shafts are reputed to be the best out there. Never used them personally, but I know a couple of guys who race mk1s in the historic saloons and they both swear by them.
