Owned all sorts of Fords over the years, Mk1 Fiesta X2, XR4X4, Mk2 Granada X2, Mk4 Orion 1.6i, Mk3 Capri LS. Anyway you get the idea... So after years of lusting after Mk1 & Mk2 Escorts and wasting good money chopping and changing I've knuckled down for a good while and am finally going to purchase a rear drive Escort. Not sure what as yet (built or project) but watch this space, It's going to happen this year.... I hope... No it will.... I'm sure of it... Come on boiler, you can do another winter... 2

I was a bit dubious about the whole import thing but now I've got it home and mostly stripped out there have been no nasty surprises only smiles as to how good it is. Don't get me wrong it's a 35 year old but very good for it's age. Just like it's owner...! Just waiting for the V5 to come back after all the paper work was sent off. 1

khanlad Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 Looks like a good solid base to start with, should have all the goodies on the shell already too, got loads of pictures of mine but they all go on sideways, ( not a bad thing ) but it is when adding pictures on here!
