Hi all, quick question and I am sure your advice will come flooding in. I have 6x13 RS alloys, with 175/50/13 yokohams. These alloys really could do with a refurbishment, but I am toying with the idea of getting some 7x13 either superlights/minilights. I would put on the tyres from the RS alloys. So the question is: will these fit without having to have the arches rolled, you can see a picture of my flatfront on my profile/garage to give you an idea of the gaps I have to play with. Any advice greatly received, Cheers Pete.

Cheers Ross, don't want to do any arch rolling really! But I know that 6x13 minilights just don't fill the hole! I had some on my mk1 escort v6 I had back in the early 90s! Will have to dig out some pictures to see if it's still about, she was a mexico rep with full 3 litre capri running gear, twin exhausts sitting under the rear valance, and 2 up and 2 down cibies, and she went like stink, if a bit rough around the edges

The differance is they are +6 offset, giving a instant 11mm more clearance from arch

My 7x13s (et-7, 175/50/13) rubbed slightly on the near side when going over BIG bumps and the car was 2 up.

Fitted a pair of Gaz adjustables to the rear, stiffened 'em up a bit and all is good now. [emoji106] I've not rolled the arches and my car is dropped by 2 inches.

Difficult decisions then, don't want to get the arches rolled, but want something that will fill the arches! Might have to stay 6x13 boo hoo, or if I can get some cheapish 7x13 I can have a play so see what the fit is like. But guys thanks for all your input, really appretiated. Pete

Checked her this weekend and she's got 2 inch lowering blocks on......... So its either full removal and back to standard rear end height, or may be because I will be fitting my rubber bands, 175/50/13s I might change to 1 inch lowering blocks...............decisions decisions lol. Pete
