My Mk1 escort has been for a visit to WPE HQ for some work.

first, a nice new 1700 x flow :-)

My brief to Wayne was simple.....'make it fast but still driveable'

The result is amazing and I'm over the moon with it....sounds great and goes like stink

Twin 45s

+90 over bore

WPE spec cam

105 speed manifold and system

Facet fuel pump

Head ported etc etc

 

I also had a 3J LSD fitted, along with new fuel lines throughout.

big header alloy rad.

He also sorted out some electrical niggles that were draining the battery while it was there so now the cibies all work as they should

 

The brake servo was also removed in favour of a Wilwood limited space master cylinder and I must say, contrary to what many folk say, they work tip top! Great progressive pedal feel and you don't need a heavy foot to use them.

Sounded nice when you went up the road, didnt know we were talking with famous osf members, just seen Craig,Paul and a couple of others from Tuesday in classic ford.
