Big thanks to Joe and Colin! thanks to there skill and hard work my rubber bottomed pinto made 172BHP on the rollers today and the tune up is so sweet I drove it to work today

 

I am over the moon with the motor and the improvements made by the team at Ashton's

That's fantastic power.

 

Does she still drive nice? We used the HT1 cam in ours and it made it a bit of a pain on the street. Do you know what cam you have had fitted?

I'll be there Sunday to watch the racing. Really looking forward to seeing you give it some stick! Have you run a 14 in it before the recent mods?

You should take our previous full weight comfy spec record then. IIRC, it was 15.1 in full street spec, and 14.8 with road tyres let down to 12psi. Then we just took weight out from then on

that makes two of us going for it. best time last year was a 15.2 should have new axle in by classicford so hoping to break in to 14's then. although this weekend ill be trying my new exhaust at full chat!

Thanks mate its a 2.1 Rubber bottom end ashton fast road with compression ti suite the internals, pbc3x cam 45webbers and a Ashley 3 peace manifold
