So went down the garage this morning, new battery in hand. Installed.............3 pumps of the throttle, and turn the key................started straight up and ticked over lovely. Not many modern cars you could leave for 5 months and have then start with no issues.

So wheels now fitted with the 1 inch lowering blocks. K & N filter fitted. Door cards cleaned up, and blank speaker grills fitted to fill the holes already in the custom cards, just tidies them up! New RS2000 graphic installed on the front bib spoiler.

Sorted out the switches on the dash, cleaned up the connections and got the hazard lights to operate correctly, and also took out the original non working ciggarette lighter unit and installed a new mk2 escort one, all working correctly!

Pictures below of how she now looks now............along with Kermit on the drivers seat (my wife calls the car Kermit and bought me one for Christmas).

Looking good mate, its funny how cars get given a name, my misses calls mine, the metal mistress, she also says that i care more about it than her and the kids! Thats just not so, i like them all exactly the same! Hehe
