I've never been into skylines and scoobies etc but there was a programme on discovery the other night, 'retro kings' or something like that and they were restoring and modifying old skylines.

Anyway, they're cool as!!!!

Straight six with triple side draughts........saucy!!!

Very rare in the UK i would imagine. Triple webers look good, bet they dont sound bad either

There are plenty of great retro jap cars. Datsun 240z & 260z, Early Celiac and Mazda RX3, Honda S500, S600 and S800 to name just a few.

 

My favourite though will also be the Toyota 2000GT

There was a really nice 240z at the mk meet last month, that had a skyline engine in it, turbo like a dustbin on the side of it! One of my mates dad had a green celica when we were teenage yuffs, think that was a 2ltr st not sure now though, 2dr fast back looking thing. Where i work on my cars a lad bought in a rally prepared lancer gsr, think it was a 93? Was telling us how rapid it was, took it out a gave it a bit, didnt have the heart to tell him my old escort would destroy it!

Mate of mine had a Skyline.  Proper rat of a car to look at, but was one seriously quick machine.

 

On a side note, I get to drive my first ever Scooby Impreza this Friday at the London Rally School. Booked me and my betty in for a session...
