Well I've not had an old ford for about five years, divorce bankruptcy plus a few other personal problems, about a year ago I thought I would like an old ford again but I just couldn't quite stretch to anything decent but I did manage to buy a series one sd1 rover v8 in brown with 37k I got the car bloody cheep as it had been sat in a garage for 15 years, so I got it running and driving and sold it last week and made just over a grand so now I'm a little closer to my dream of getting behind the wheel of an old ford, so I sold a lap top to and I've just brought this a 1982 mk2 Granada 2.8gl it's not perfect but it's never been welded and it has an mot, and I love it, I do need to fit rear seat belts tho asap so if anyone knows what car I can get them from that would be a great help, here's some photos,

Just been in the loft and found my mk2 granny Haynes manual and there's all the info I need about fitting rear seat belts lol,

Yup, nice SD1. I used to have a 2600 but it was a complete crock, but it looked nice. I hanker after a 3.5 but keep resisting.

When I was a student I owned a 3500s SD1 which dropped a valve and ended up hurting my wallet an awful lot!

My dad had an early sd1 3500 in brown when I was a kid. I was cleaning it for some pocket money and managed to knock it out of park. It rolled across the road and through the neighbors garage!

It is a pretty cool car and does sound cool with the v8, been looking over the Granada lots to keep me busy for a while,
