classic ford auction prices

I was at ACA classic auction yesterday, watched a mk1 broadspeed capri have 48k , nearly 50 grand out the door !!

it was a lovely car tho

It's been going that way for a while and the big auction houses have all noticed it too. A Broadspeed is a pretty rare car but still, 48 grand?? Not common man's toys anymore are they?

89F Xr3i , done 12k from new had 20 grand but a 30k miles one owner sapphire cossie  4x4  struggled, don't think it had a proper bid, est 25-30k I think ,
