kms Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 I went to that meeting and had a look round the pits beforehand - I was gutted to see that there His team mate had a mk3 cortina in black too. - they won an award for best presented team but both were useless as bangers - only did a couple of laps. The mk1 was very rotten - a lot of it was made with newspaper - cover the holes so it looked pretty

Still, it's odd. I'm glad its going out in a blaze of glory rather than sitting in a field, but despite that its still kinda sad to see it on a track.....such contradictory thoughts!
