SS wire, welding your OSF

Has/does anyone use stainless wire when doing bits to their car? Maybe for the novelty or for any rust occurring reasons in the future?

 

Thought it might be worth doing in some of the harder to reach places

if you do you need to use pure argon not mix but why bother the steel will just rust as normal

It would rust either side, but the weld would still be good!

As Malcolm says, the weld won't rust but it will encourage rusting of the mild steel either side. Lots of scienfitic information here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galvanic_corrosion
