109e is of the lesser capacity could be 997/1200 or 1340 but not the 1500. Sure 1500 will be either 116 or 120 E

1500 could be 116,118,120, 701m, 2737 or a possibility 2731 but most likely one of the first 3

Can you not tell the cc by the depth of the blocks on front cylinder under thermostat housing like the crossflows ? With ref to the 997/1200/1340
