What's the benefit of fitting one. I ask because lots of escorts have them.just wondered

To prevent with hard braking that the front wheels go to far backwards due bending of the anti-rollbar , and with roundabouts when your car is heavier than standard ..... becourse the middle bush/clamp prevent this.
