hi, can any 1 help me out with the old ford mk6 escort or mk2 mondeo engine thats in my boat thanks

 

 

 

I've found this engine and am thinking about for the price of it just swapping the engine out but I'm not 100% sure if it will just drop in onto the same mounts.

 

the fuel pump manufacturer number is R8444B401A

mk6 escort or mk2 mondeo I'm just getting the manufacturer number of the fuel pump that might be more helpful. my original plan was to find and source a fuel pump but i can't find one so now I'm looking at engines and theres not many to pick from

not a mondeo engine mk4/5/6 escort doubt its mk6 though is it a lucas or bosch pump? not interchangeable without a lot of work and parts
