Yes and Dunlop & Continental do those tyres, most tyre places should be able to order them in for you!!!

Oh and seein as your here, know your a busy man doing shoots and looking at cars all day!!

Whats the best rad for my xe conversion? i'm going pease pottage on sat, was gonna look for a twin fan large width rad with expansion, maybe something like a 200zx or bmw, what says you of xe greatness?

lol

Wouldn't go that far

It all depends upon how much fiddling you want to do to get it to fit. I had a big header rad triple cored and had a return pipe welded in the tank at the top in a bizzarre moment of wanting it to look standard

There is no best or worst bet really - thats very vague isn't it!!? ... are you retaining the water outlet from the rear of the head??

In my experience, the XE doesn't really run that hot, especially if you retain that outlet in the rear of the head... Hope that's a bit more helpful

they will rub mate take it from me, you might get away with it if you use 175 50 13 tyres, and that will still be close

Ive had this conversation a hundred times with my cars mate both using 7" rims

Is it lowered? How far? Ive got 7j superlites with 185/60's. I had to cut off all of the return lip of the rear arches to get it to clear. The rear tyres still catch if I put any weight in the back. Mines lowered 2 inches.

Mate, they will defo rub unless you shorten your axle!!! My axle is shortened by 1" either side and its lowered 3 1/4" on 175/50 tyres

Why do you want 195's?? They will look poop on them wheels imo

If you only lower 2" with 175's then you might just get away with it

hope this helps

I've got fully adjustable coilovers all round so can adjust height as i need, havent heard of many english axles being shortened and will find out more, and was going for 175's but peeps are tellin me that will look to euro?

There is enough meat on the rear of a superlite to get the hub machined, which might well help them clear the Mk2 rear arches... Most wheel re-furb companies should be able to do this for you. 8)
