Fomoco auto g/box identification help

Fomoco Auto box bolted to the back of an Essex V6, any ideas Chaps an Chapesses as to what model it is and what cars it was originally fitted to?, its deffo not a Borduax C3 / C4, so as the Ginger kid in the car said  " I know that Dad, but what is it",       could it be someting Reliant used in the Scimitars?

although the bellhousing has B/W type grills on it I dont think it can be a B/W, well deffo not like a 35 or 65, as it has FOMOCO cast in it
