Mk1 Tina GT carb

Hi all I'm adding a new GT Carb and manifold to my 1500 pre Crossflow the existing setup is a rod from the accelerator pedal rather than a cable just wondering if the GT carb is on the same rod I consulted my manuals but it doesn't really go into the linkage on a GT any help as always gratefully received

GT carbs are the rod linkage set up I believe..
